Oh (wo)man. Britt & Anika. WHAT A PAIR. First of all, I don't think I've ever had such a crush on a couple. Second of all, couple aside, this wedding was...the most unbelievable day.
They got married on the roof of the Franklin Institute in Philly on a gorgeous September day. Their first look took place in front of a huge water fountain. There was an all female vendor team. The Supreme Court decision to make gay marriage legal was read by one of their best friends as part of the ceremony readings, which gives me a lump in my throat every time I think about it. Instead of flower girls, there were flower men, equipped with fanny packs full of flower petals. Anika made me cry (in the best way) more than any other bride I've ever worked with and Britt has been, and continues to be, my personal networker, getting me jobs left and right and making me feel so very valuable.
These two are a power couple and I think they should run for President, as a couple. They value all of the things that I value. They care and love so deeply, which has been palpable since the moment we started working together. Weddings like this one make me feel like the luckiest person in the world.
