Heidi & Sophie got married on a beautiful, sunny September day. Their wedding was one that I was the most excited to shoot in 2019. As passionate feminists, they wanted an all female vendor team and found me in a Facebook group. A feminist myself, we hit it off and they hired me.
Their wedding ceremony was one of the trickiest ceremonies I have experienced, lighting-wise. The sun was spotlighting directly on the bridal party creating harsh shadows and extreme highlights. But, the beauty of Heidi crying (almost non-stop) and Sophie patting away her tears made the images drool-worth, lighting aside. This dynamic between the two of them was a common theme throughout the day and choked me up several times while editing.
I am SO glad that the three of us found each other both in a professional way, but also as friends. Love you, ladies <3
